It has been weeks since the Northern Buya region started being attacked by crow flocks. The shift in the northern winds continued to bring more and more crows to the south up to a point the farmers had no more resources left. With the dwindling interest of the common people in helping contain the crows, the wicked trees started spreading faster. And with the trees came more and more Darkspawns. Over the past weeks, they have grown into thousands and it finally reached a point that they marched down and started attacking Buya. Worried about the safety of their kingdom, Queen Lasahn and Prince Daeso led a coordinated counterattack, calling together soldiers and friends of Buya for help. While many Darkspawns were being defeated, their monstrous strength also took many innocent lives. There were too many of them and they kept spawning regardless of many being slain. It was only after a mysterious figure showed up to help that the tides turned in Buya's favor. Wearing a white cloak and a long hood, people could barely see the stranger's face, but his powerful assistance quickly caught people's attention as the Darkspawn seemed blind to his presence there. The hooded man calls himself 'Vensu' and claims he is a Mysticist and while most could not understand if he was a friend or foe, he provided essential help to contain the spread of the Darkspawn. Guided by several people, he met with the Unmu Scout at Myungok where he learned that the source of the Darkspawns were the wicked trees and that the trees were growing from seed dropped by the crows. Vensu then realized that by getting rid of the crows he would create a chain reaction that would put an end to the Darkspawn threat. Vensu then pulled a mysterious object out of his pocket and with immensely powerful magic, he kept working until he finally got rid of the crows. With the attack of the crows over, so was the threat of the Darkspawn. However, the winds from the north keep changing and a major snowstorm once more hit the kingdoms. Will people survive another harsh winter? | |
